MSc Dissertation Examination @ RG-QOE

Simone Moraes, member of the Research Group on Quality and Organizational Excellence (RG-QOE) and student of the Master Program in Quality Engineering and Management (MEGQ) presented her Master Dissertation last February 27.

The dissertation entitled “Uma nova Implementação de um Sistema de Gestão da Qualidade no âmbito da Norma ISO 9001:2015 – em uma Vidraria” was supervised by Professor Paulo Sampaio. The examination was performed by Professor Pedro Domingues (Senior Researcher at the ALGORITMI Research Centre).

QOE @ Erasmus+ project STEAMigPOWER

Sofia Barbosa Pereira, PhD Student at the Research Group on Quality and Organizational Excellence (RG-QOE), attended the Kick-off Meeting of the Erasmus + project entitle STEAMigPOWER. This project is coordinated by the School of Engineering of the University of Minho and involves several research centers.

“The project will focus on the development of the STEAM courses to be offered to migrants, refugees and asylum seekers, namely women and pupils in upper secondary school (15 – 18 years old), who are particularly vulnerable to being marginalized in STEAM.”
